The crown and base flange are made of cast aluminium. The dome is crafted from embossed aluminium sheet. The frame consists of a cast aluminium crown ring supported by four cast aluminium ribs. Reflector options include embossed CDG steel or pure anodized aluminium.
2. How is the optical block protected, and what diffuser material is used?
The optical block is composed of 3 sealed parts designed to provide a high level of protection (IP33 or IP65 on request). The diffuser is made of frost methacrylate.
3. What reflector options are available for different IP ratings?
For an IP33 protection rating, the luminaire features an embossed CDG steel sheet reflector. For an IP65 rating, it uses a pure aluminium reflector, stamped in one piece and anodized, which is fixed onto the CDG steel sheet.
4. What are the socket and lamp specifications for the AU5471?
The luminaire uses E27 or E40 sockets and is designed for High-Pressure Sodium (H.P.S) lamps up to a maximum of 250W.
5. Is it easy to access the control gear during maintenance?
Yes. Once you remove the dome and top crown, the control gear mounted on the CDG steel sheet is easily attained. In configurations with the pure aluminium reflector, the control gear is placed conveniently around the reflector.
6. What is the shock energy rating and electrical classification of this luminaire?
The AU5471 luminaire has a shock energy rating of 2 joules when configured with a polycarbonate diffuser, and it conforms to both Class I and Class II electrical safety requirements.
